May I ask how many users affected had this issue resolved when updating to Ventura?? Thank you very much.

What is the plan now? I again called Apple and they said I must "upgrade" and before any resolution can take place I must test it in Safe Mode whether popping cracking sound appears in that mode.

Apple is s*** when speaking of support. I think all we can do is encourage people write in this forum as much as possible.

Solved!! Install eqMac, it was built to solve this issue! Find it on github or at eqmac.app. This took me two years to find ; ;

Just install it from eqmac.app and it will install some drivers automatically. You don't have to do anything after that.

For me the issue applies to when I'm wearing headphones, and through the internal speakers, so I don't believe cleaning the internal speakers will affect the popping noise in my Bluetooth headphones

eqMac didn't solve the issue for me. I tried running it for a few weeks and I still had the popping noise

thats the thing, you shouldnt have to do run arounds to make your super expensive gadget to work.

Going to Audio Midi and changing from 48,1 to 44,1 and then a reboot, seemed to have worked for me too. Thanks for the fix.
