play purchased music from a thumb drive in my car

Hi I have music that I have purchased from I tunes and can play this at home. How can I convert these songs that I own, into mp3 and transfer to a a thumb drive to play in my car? Thank you

Most modern cars should be able to play Apple’s AAC format, but if for some reason yours doesn’t, you can go to the Convert Option in the File Menu and select Create MP3 version.


If the option is not there, go to Edit->Preferences->Files->Import Settings, and set the “Import Using” dropdown to MP3. The Convert menu should then offer the “Create MP3 version” option.


It will duplicate the song though in the new format in your library.
