SanDisk iXpand app not giving me the chance to allow access to photos (iPad)

I have the latest iPad with the latest iOS on it. I just got a SanDisk iXpand Drive to free up storage on my mobile devices. The device works beautifully on our three iPhones, but for the iPad, the settings for the app does not offer the option to allow access to Photos, Bluetooth, Local Network, Camera and Media & Apple Music (all of which are options that show on the iPhones).

The iPad ONLY SHOWS Local Network, Siri & Search, Notifications, Background App Refresh and Document Storage. I've deleted and re-installed the app & device several times.

I've read several suggestions online (usually posts from years ago), but there is nothing recent that seems to be the same issue that I'm having. And please don't tell me to contact SanDisk -- this is definitely an iOS "settings" issue. Is it something about Screen Time, Parental Controls, Location Services or other that I need to adjust in order for the iXpand settings to give me the option to access everything that the iPhones can?

Sandisk iXpand uses proprietary software. Not all functions will necessarily be available to, or supported by, all Apple devices. As with all software products, update may be required to fully compatible with iPadOS - the most recent version being iPadOS 15.2.

Whilst noting your comments within the final paragraph of your post, you really would be best advised to seek technical support from Western Digital (Sandisk) - as they are best placed to provide support for their product.
