I have 2 LG 5k monitor which I connect to my MacBook Pro 16" using the ports on the back. I also have a usb adaptor plugged in. All work just fine. However, when I try to use on of the other usb c ports for the MagSafe charger for my iPhone, none of them work, on either monitor. What am I doing wrong?! Would appreciate advice. Thank you.

Try plugging the charger directly into the Mac and compare your results...
