connectors for macbook pro retina 2013 to macbook pro 16 inch 2021

I have a MacBook Pro retina with thunderbolt 2 ports and MacBook Pro 16 inch silicon chip 2021 which has USB C ports. Is there such a thing as a cable that has end which has one male end with thunderbolt 2 and one male end with USB C end. I know there is an adaptor that I would use. If I do get such an adaptor what type connector cable would I use. Just tell me what to buy?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.1

It would be easier with less adapters if you set up your new mac using a USB backup of your old Mac.

This single adapter will be useful for all old USB externals: USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple

The most trouble free way to move to a new machine, is using the Setup Assistant on the initial boot of a brand new machine— you have one shot here. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205749

The second best way is use the Migration Assistant.

before I choose the route I take, I want be certain (if that is possible) that raw photos inPhoto ap migrate, download, or whatever will remain in raw format. Also I would like Tham to retain the adjustments I made in them. I rather not have re-edit them from original state. What do you think?

I have never done a USB back up to load onto the new computer. Won't some of the features, tools etc be outdated or incompatible?
