Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Apple Thunderbolt cable

My iMac has a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port, which is a small oval shape.

My accessory device has an Apple Thunderbolt port, which is a larger rectangle shape.

Both ports are Thunderbolt 3, but each has a different port shape.

Is there a cable or adapter to connect these two things?

connectors for macbook pro retina 2013 to macbook pro 16 inch 2021 I have a MacBook Pro retina with thunderbolt 2 ports and MacBook Pro 16 inch silicon chip 2021 which has USB C ports. Is there such a thing as a cable that has end which has one male end with thunderbolt 2 and one male end with USB C end. I know there is an adaptor that I would use. If I do get such an adaptor what type connector cable would I use. Just tell me what to buy?

Never mind... that Apple Thunderbolt Cable is Thunderbolt 2/Thunderbolt.

I thought my accessory device was Thunderbolt 3 but it's not.
