15.02 iOS update bugged my iphone 6

Has anyone else having major bug issues with their phones since updating to the newest iOS? My battery drops its charge faster, I can barely send a text message (forget about sending a picture message! That’s a hit or miss.) Wi-Fi issues, AirPlay doesn’t want to connect sometimes… I’m ready to get rid of this thing. How can I go back to a less buggy operating system? This is my work phone. My only phone, too. Thanks!!

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

You cannot downgrade the operating system.

Also, check your specs on what you have. An iPhone 6 can't run anything higher than iOS 12.5.5 and the latest iOS is 15.2. Your title says you have a 6 but your specs show you have a 6S.

Go to Settings > General > About and let us know what you actually have for a phone and iOS.

An iPhone 6 and an iPhone 6s are not the same thing. An iPhone 6 cannot update to iOS 15 at all. An iPhone 6s however can.

There is no way to downgrade to a previous iOS version, but the issues you are talking about here not really common with iOS 15.2

iOS 15.0.2 is 3 versions down form current. If you really have 15.0.2 as opposed to 15.2, you may want to update to 15.2. It fixes some issues and may resolve whatever problems you are having.

If you are running 15.2, I would recommend you start by rebooting the iPhone and testing again: link-> Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If that does not work, you may need to restore your iPhone and set it up again if something got really corrupted and is causing those issues.

Link-> Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

This will not downgrade the iOS version, but may clear some issues caused by an update that did not correctly install.

WonderfullyScarred ~ With an older iPhone model such as the 6s, it's worth checking the battery. If it's still the original 6 year-old battery, the long process of applying an iOS update can strain a weak, aging battery and be "the straw that broke the camel's back".

Does your iPhone 6s still have its original battery?

What's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

Settings > Battery > Battery Health

...And is there an "Important Battery Message" there? [Ref: Apple]

I apologize for my error. I definitely meant to put IPhone 6s. Unfortunately, since the update before the most recently, it’s a hit or miss if I can send a long message. I can’t send group messages at all. I have several people telling me I’m in their group text’s and I’m not getting any of those messages. Not sure what’s going on.

If I restore my phone, will I lose everything on my phone? (i.e. contacts, calendar events, photos, etc…)

Also, do you know how I can transfer my contacts and other information from one micro sd to another? My phone carrier sent out new micro sd cards for everyone (they are completely getting rid of 3g) and I’m not sure how to transfer info. I tried iTunes but iTunes wouldn’t let me save my contacts or anything for whatever reason. Errors popped up. Any other ways I can do this?
