I can’t type my Apple ID password on my watch because it won’t recognize numbers or symbols

I can’t pair my Apple Watch because it requires that I put in my Apple ID password. My password has numerals and symbols which I can’t type on the scribble screen on my watch.

Have you tried it from your iPhone.

Open the watch app>General>Apple Id>
