I have a Apple TV gen 2 Model A1469. Everything seems to work but the air play. Says activation failed. Not sure how to reset?

I have a Apple TV gen 2 Model A1469. Everything seems to work but the air play. I have gone though the resets and updates on my devices and Apple TV. I went to settings, general, about and at the bottom of the screen the activation says failed. Not sure what to do? Ideas? Thanks in advance
