Today, my apple TV stopped connect to Netflix and Hulu. I tried deleting and resetting the network connection. Then I tried to factory reset the Apple TV.
Now, my Apple TV fails to activate. I tried with the phone setup step and that failed to connect to the activation servers. Then I tried setting up manually and the same thing happened. The message I get is, "The Apple Activation server is temporarily unavailable"

The solution to my problem was to reboot my router. Even though my internet was seemingly working fine on every other device, the router reboot seems to have solved the issue.
