After connecting my AirPods 3rd Gen to my Bluetooth in setup, I cannot see the options to adjust my left and right airpod touch controls. iOS and AirPod firmware are up to date, and I have tried forgetting and reconnecting multiple times.

There are no touch controls on AirPods 3.

There is a force sensor on the stem you squeeze.

Pause, skip, and adjust volume with your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support

Control audio with your AirPods Pro or AirPods (3rd generation)

  • To play and pause audio, press the force sensor on the stem of an AirPod. To resume playback, press again.
  • To skip forward, double-press the force sensor.
  • To skip back, triple-press the force sensor.
  • To turn the volume up or down, say "Hey Siri," then say something like "Turn up the volume" or "Turn down the volume." Or drag the volume slider in the app that you're listening to, on the Lock Screen, or in Control Center. You can also open Now Playing on your Apple Watch and turn the Digital Crown to make your AirPods Pro or AirPods (3rd generation) louder or quieter.

AirPods Pro let you control how much you hear your surroundings. Press and hold the force sensor to switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode. You can select which modes the press-and-hold action switches between:

  1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap the More Info button  next to your AirPods in the list of devices.
  3. Tap Noise Cancellation, Transparency, or Off.

You can use Siri with your AirPods to ask questions and make phone calls. Siri can also control your music and check on your AirPods. To set an AirPod Pro to use Siri, press and hold the force sensor.

Change the settings of your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support

  1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap the More Info button  next to your AirPods in the list of devices.
  3. Under Press and Hold AirPods, tap Left or Right, then make sure that Noise Control is selected.
  4. Select the two or three noise control modes that you want to use with press and hold. If both AirPods are set to change noise control modes, a change to the press-and-hold action settings on one AirPod applies to both.
