Did not receive 3 month Apple TV+ membership with new purchase of MacBook

I just purchased a MacBook and was expecting to receive an Apple TV 3 month membership, but when I open the app, it only gives me a 7 day free trial. How can I get my 3 month membership?

For Macs, users have to additionally sign in to the TV app (menu Account), for the redeem option to appear.
