iphone 5s update

my iphone 5s won’t show any updates and it’s stuck at the IOS 12.5.5 update when it says it’s up to date in my settings. and when i looked in my storage to delete my recent update and redownload it again it doesn’t show

Thats the max you can update a 5s. You cannot update past ios 12

Why is my iPhone update stuck on “update requested” I have been trying to update my iPhone for the past month. And for the past month, it has stayed on “update requested.” I have turned it off and back on several times, it is always fully charged, and is always connected to WiFi. I have even gone through and deleted and cleared off so much storage on my iPhone, but it still doesn’t do anything. How can I fix it??
