Connect three displays to my MacBook pro.

Just got the new new MacBook Pro M1 super duper max or whatever it is.. I am coming from a Mac Pro with three monitors and have read I can connect three to this laptop. Is there an adaptor I need? Rather not use up all the ports, love to have a docking station perhaps. Any ideas?

Hey Steve,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you would like to connect 3 external monitors to your MacBook Pro.

Depending on your MacBook Pro model, you can connect 2-4 external displays. Check out Connect a display to your Mac. A dock can be used to free up your built-in ports but wouldn't increase the number of displays you can connect. You can find compatible docks and adapters on Apple.com.

Take care.
