AirPods keeps flashing amber

my AirPods 2 flashes amber whenever both of them are in the case. however, when i take one of them out and leave the case closed for 10 seconds with the other AirPods in it, the case flashes green like a normal AirPods (green light flashes and white too when it is trying to be connected) yet when i put the one i have taken earlier, it started to flash amber again, nonstop. on top of that, it will paired as a separate Airpods, like an individual pair as if i got them separately. i’ve tried restarting it but it won’t restart. it only flashes amber and no white flash. i have checked the firmware, they both are 3E751. i acknowledge that this is quite an old version but they won’t update even though i have followed the instructions given. it’s been 3 days now and it’s driving me crazy. plus i use it for online class to avoid echo and for people to hear me clearer without background noise. i don’t even have wired earphones with jack adapter to use for a while while my AirPods is being like this.

it’s now good. i just pushed the AirPods back button for a LONG long time while the cap is opened because i was too frustrated and annoyed and suddenly it’s back to normal. thanks to myself and god i guess.
