Hi, I am having problems trying to use my external ssd (Samsung t7) with my iPad Pro.
The device shows up in the files app but when I add files from my iPad to the ssd, the next time I plug in the ssd the files have disappeared.
I have added files to the ssd from my pc and they have stayed on the device and can be accessed from the iPad.
The ssd has been formatted to exFAT through my pc before use on the iPad.

Be certain the drive meets all the requirements here.
I am having the exact same issue. Using a 1TB Standish extreme SSD. Copying the files works fine but once I disconnect the disk from my iPad Pro M1 and reconnect it a couple of minutes later, alle the files are gone. Anyone knows what this issue is?
Also: I just copied a couple of video’s from an SD card to the external drive. A few minutes later I copied some pictures from the photo app on the iPad to the drive and all out of a sudden the video’s that where on the drive before where replaced with the photo’s I uploaden. Causing the video files to be unfindable/disappeared..
I have the same issue as of the moment. I dont know why but i copied the same file multiple times and when i remove the ssd and insert it again the file becomes corrupted (which appears like on the photo below) how can we resolve this issue? Is the new IOS 15.2.1 update cause this problem?

This is exactly what is happening with me, kinda glad I’m not the only one. Hopefully someone has the answer for us!
