My friend added me to their family plan but my apple is still billing me for a subscription. How do I fix this?

Did you accept the invitation to join the family? Does the Family Organizer have a Family Music subscription? If so, according to the footnote in:
Get an Apple Music family subscription - Apple Support
"If someone in the family group already has an individual or student subscription to Apple Music, renewal of that subscription is automatically canceled when they join the family group."

i tried being re-added to the family and it did in fact say Apple Music will be available to me whenI was accepting the invitation. But it is still asking me to subscribe when trying to use the app.
