How to use some characters on an ISO/QUERTY Spanish keyboard

Hey, I am struggling when using my brand new Macbook air. I am Brazilian and I bought a computer in Spain. How can I use the characters that appear at the top of the numbers (specially the parentheses and the question mark)?

You press the Shift key plus the number key.

If that is not producing the right characters, it is probably because you have the wrong input source active. Go to system preferences > keyboard > input sources and make sure there is only one item on the list, and that the name of that item is "Spanish ISO".
