How to use some characters on an ISO/QUERTY Spanish keyboard

You press the Shift key plus the number key.

If that is not producing the right characters, it is probably because you have the wrong input source active. Go to system preferences > keyboard > input sources and make sure there is only one item on the list, and that the name of that item is "Spanish ISO".

You should use the Minus button to remove Espanhol. That is wrong for your keyboard, and it is easy to switch accidentally. Keep only Espanhol ISO on the list.

Could you send me a picture of what you have at System Preferences > Keyboard > Input Sources? Or at least tell me what is on the list?

You need to click on Layouts de Teclada. As mentioned before, on that list you should have only ONE item, and the name of that item should be "Spanish ISO."
