We are on iOS 15.2 and the screen time bug is still not fixed

The screentime bug plagues our phones since more than a year and apple seems not able to fix it. why don't you just remove this feature all together? why offer something that is not working? it's shameful to leave fans out in the cold like that.

Yes AndyMun! You're right this happens when the link is opened from another app, for example:

  • I receipt a link from telegram, when I click this is opened inside of the app browser (the same happens on Twitter) if I choose to open the link in browser (Safari) and don't close the tab, after some hours the app still active on Screen Time

mid april, ios 15.4 and this problem still exists. clearing the history and website data on safari no longer works anymore like it used to. it keeps getting worse and worse and i have NO idea how apple has allowed this issue to persist as long as it has. i've been experiencing this for at least a year or more now!! it's freaking ridiculous and annoying!

I feel your pain. I’ve been having the same trouble with this software. I need to limit how much my kids are on certain apps short of taking the phone away. They’re not always with me so I can’t simply take their phone and I need a way to communicate with them. So frustrating. I hate android but their software similar to this, works and is reliable. I expect so much more from Apple. It’s one thing to have a bug and take a little while to fix. But this goes on and on, and it’s a safety function.

I’ve been experiencing all of the same issues with my daughter’s screen time and it’s ridiculous! I’ve relied on this working as Apple has always been reliable but now this has gone on way too long. It’s has caused some issues in our house with the teenager but I can see it’s not her fault now. Apple is slipping down a slope that will be hard to climb back up if they don’t get on their game now.
