Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, your daughter says that your iMessage thread shows that you have notifications for your Messages app silenced. Based on your description, this could be related to the Focus feature, so please see this Apple resource on this feature to adjust behavior or turn it off:

Use Focus on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
