Mac Mini (late 2014) to USB C Monitor

I want to use my old 2014 Mac Mini as a spare computer and link it to an Iiyama ProLite X1670HC-B1

Monitor, which has a USB C interface. Can I connect them using either Thunderbolt 2 or HDMI?

You need to use a monitor that supports HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI or VGA with the 2014 Mac Mini.
