Repeat Question w/ No Solution That Works for Us

When adding keywords to my photos in Apple's Photos app, I pull up the Info window, click in the Keywords field, and type them in. In previous versions, comma would commit the keyword but leave the cursor in the field so I could type another. So:

park,sunset,dog,

would add three keywords. Since upgrading to Catalina, comma still commits the keyword but also frustratingly removes focus from the keyword field. So anything I type afterward not only doesn't go in the keyword field, but is interpreted as keyboard shortcuts and does unpredictable things.

So to enter three keywords, I have to type "park," wait a moment for it to switch focus, click on a blank spot in the keyword field, type "sunset," wait a moment, click a blank spot, and finally type "dog". And since each new keyword moves the keywords in the field around, I have to move the mouse each time to find a blank spot.

Surely there's a better way to do this, right?
