iphone’s faulty u2 chip and charger

so im currently using an iphone 6 plus. a few months ago i was using a fake third-party charger, and my phone once popped up the “accessories not supported” and i ignored it and insisted on using that charger and my iphone has suddenly shut down twice although there was still battery and it also dropped battery like significantly in only a short span of time like twice and i know that the u2 chip is damaged. so yesterday i bought a 20w charger(an authentic one) because im going to upgrade my phone soon, but in the next few days if i keep on using my charger to charge this iphone will my charger go wrong ?

What do you mean by "fake charger"? A power adapter doesn't normally cause any issues whether or not it's MFi approved. As long as it provides a steady 5V there shouldn't be a problem. I've used many USB-A power adapters, computer USB ports, and USB power banks including ones that shipped with non-Apple devices and have never had an issue. There's nothing inherently special about Apple or MFi power and Apple devices generally have no way of knowing what they're plugged into.

There may be an issue with many Lightning cables if it doesn't contain the circuitry provided by Apple or has some sort of fault where it can't reliably provide power to a device. I've tried a few non-Apple and non MFi and have gotten the "Accessory not supported" message. I've also gotten that with weakened genuine Apple or MFi Lightning cables such as ones that had been flexed too often and were marginal.

If you really think there's anything seriously wrong with power management, then you can get a diagnostic from Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. If there's a fault it's usually recorded somewhere to be accessed by an Apple diagnostic.
