My iPad Pro location cannot be determined even though I have Location Services turned on

The issue I’ve been facing on my iPad Pro is that my location cannot be determined even though I have Location Services turned on in Privacy. I’ve allowed Google Maps to use my location always and even enabled Precise Location but still, whenever I open Google Maps or even any other 3rd party or Apple Maps, my location cannot be determined. If anyone has a solution, please tell me.

If you continue to experience difficulties, you might be best advised to seek assistance directly from from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Get Support link at top-right of this page. Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

You may need to delete and reinstall the Google Maps App. After deleting Google Maps from your iPad, perform a forced-restart of the iPad before attempting to reinstall the App.

Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Forced-restart:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
