Why is Music App always open?

Last time i used it last week, in this time i use Spotify but when i close it Apple Music is running on background.

Apple Music Android no longer casts to Google Home Devices I have set Apple Music up as my default music provider on my Google Home. Up until recently, everything worked fine but then I couldn't get any music to play by either voice command or casting. I removed Apple Music from my home and re-linked and set to default music provider again. This enabled me to be able to use voice commands to play music again but I am still unable to cast from my phone. I click the cast button, select the speaker, it beeps and then.. nothing! I've just confirmed that I am able to cast Spotify and Google Podcasts with no issues, so the problem is limited to Apple Music only. Please don't make me switch back to Spotify!

Apple Music stops after playing 2 songs from my library Any ideas why Apple Music - on a MacBook Pro M1 running macOS Monterey 12.4 consistently stops after playing 2 tracks from my library? Ie not streaming but playing songs I have saved on my laptop in Apple Music? After 2 tracks, the music stops playing, the name of the first track still appears at the top as if it is still playing and I need to click the skip track button to restart the music - after doing this there are no further issues and tracks play continuously. The problem occurs again after I restart Apple Music, start playing a different playlist etc

is not running in background you can see the play icon ? When shows the two bars it’s playing , I have that on my iPhone , I was playing music from YouTube and two days later I get there and shows the last song I was playing from Apple Music an aldkk on I was playing music from Spotify and still shows the last song was played from Apple Music
