I cannot get Siri to recognize my daughters voice.

I cannot get Siri to recognize my daughters voice. I have a child iCloud account set up for her. She does not have a phone. How can I set up Siri voice recognition, if she does not have her own phone. She does have a HomePod mini in her room. But I cannot seem to associate her iCloud account with that device.

Siri works on a device, not an Apple ID. An Apple ID is required to be part of a Family Group and to sign in on a device, but Siri works with that device and recognises voices because it's part of setting up an iPhone, for example. Without this setup HomePod will not recognise your daughter's voice, just as Siri does not recognise a voice of a visitor to your home.
