Ipad Air 4 LED screen internal crack?

I had a screen protector and leather case. I came home and wanted to use my ipad then saw that the screen display is messed up, it is a fine-long internal crack that started small. After inspecting, there was a crack in the LED screen, no physical trauma and was never dropped. I do not have applecare+, regrettably so, but I have no idea what to think of this issue; I am currently in the process of trying to have this fixed Out-Of-Warranty but have no idea what to categorize this issue as.

Yesterday last night:

Now this afternoon (I have long since backed up my data, and restored to it's factory settings when it was readable but this is now beyond readable.):

Is this a display issue? Display Flickering? Screen or Display quality? Can I also know if this falls under any warranties (doubt it but my wallet is screaming) or if there's anything I should know about before moving forward? Should I consult in-stores or go with the mail-in service? Anything is appreciated.

If your screen cracked, tbat is one issue.

In addition, screens and screen glass DO NOT simply crack on their own.

Something happened with that iPad that was the cause of the initial screen crack.

Your screen looks as if your iPad has had another internal hardware issue.

You need to search online for your nearest, “local” Apple store location and call contact phone numbers and call to make an appointment to have your Apple iPad diagnosed and options presented you.

Failing that,
