I have a brand new jeep compass and for the first week i had it carplay worked mostly fine. Last weekend i updated to 15.2 and now carplay connects for music and phone only using siri even though my phone has carplay enabled. It wont show or read messages, maps and my playlist for amazon music dont appear like they did. Is there a fix on the phone or is my phone too outdated with this most recent update.

I have the same problem too after updating to 15.2. It’s really frustrating when we’re directed to the same link to help troubleshoot carplay in which we’ve all probably already been through. Assuming we’re not idiots and have already been through those steps, is there any real help that apple support can provide?
