'Supported' eGPU Setup crashes MacBook Pro on Startup

I purchased a combo eGPU from Sonnet for my Macbook Pro 16 (2019)

Combo is Duomodo enclosure + AMD 6900XT Card, which is 'supported' according to Apple.

It worked fine for 2 weeks then out of the blue, makes the Macbook crash as soon as it's plugged in. Fan goes crazy then black screen. I tried just the Macbook with the eGPU, nothing else plugged in. No matter how many screens (or none) plugged in, same problem.

If anyone has ideas please feel free to share, thanks!

Sounds Broken to me.

¿What does the eGPU Vendor suggest you do to debug further?

I sent them an email yesterday. My hope is they have seen this problem a few times and have a clue on how to troubleshoot. I would hate to return the product as, when it was working, it was great. I made sure to buy a setup with all components 'supported' by Apple, but unfortunately not much info here about troubleshooting.
