My iPhone 12 Pro Max is flashing a light multiple and various times. A flashing light that I do not see but is visible on security camera video footage.
Full Scenario & Questions in additional text attached to this posting.
I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max with McAfee Total Protection Mobile Security and Safe Connect VPN applications, a Ring security camera configuration and viewer application, a Pro iCam spy camera configuration and viewer application, and a HDlivecam spy camera configuration and viewer application. Due to the area in which I live, we have various security spy and Ring security cameras spread throughout the home inside and outside.
My iPhone 12 Pro Max is flashing a light (camera light?) multiple times that I do not visually see until it being pointed out by my partner on the security cameras' video footage. I have a Ring Security Video Cam Doorbell and several Ring Security Video Cams around my home. I also have several spy cams spread inside and outside my home that comes with a QR code link to HDLiveCam and 1 leveraging Pro iCam for configuring and viewing the spy cam notifications and live or video footage.
My partner was viewing our security cameras' footage because the cameras had notified us of motion in specific areas. He observed that every so often, my iPhone 12 Pro Max was flashing white "camera" lights in several bits of various camera video footage. He asked me what I was taking photos for selfies and regular photos but unaimed. The flashing lights seemed to come from the front and back camera light areas. When he showed me what was on the video cams' footage, I was shocked. There were flashes of light coming from my iPhone 12 Pro Max and it appears as though I am doing some action (logging in, texting, something) to cause the flashing to occur. I NEVER saw the flashes happen and I certainly did not take the photos he saw on video footage. I am now left trying to determine the cause of the flashes.
Does anyone know why my iPhone 12 Pro Max is, because of an unknown action, flashing light that is invisible to the eyes but visible when viewed by security camera video footage. As a previous IT programmer, I suspected initially that it was due to code left behind in the McAfee Mobile Security ThiefCam application and triggered haphazardly since the original trigger was removed. As of this posting of my question, I have not yet Researched Ring or HDlivecam applications for issues or features like my situation. I will do so after this post and if I find the answer, I will reply with my findings.
