I have iOS 15.2 on iPhone 12 Pro and every this as it was with respect to the keyboards. I am not sure if you are referring to any third-party keyboards.

You will delete all the numbers using back space and start typing the number from scratch ?
This is not What i want, if i want to delete only first 2 from your example and replace it with some other number what you will do?
