I buy Apple TV A1469, I want to use the screen share. but I only can connect with my iPhone remote control.
The photo is my iPhone remote control. I press the button in the lower right corner but there is no reaction. Can anyone tell me is that the question about my TV or Apple TV , thanks.

The remote function is only useable as a software replacement of the physical remote. Set up the Apple TV Remote on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. You use it to navigate on the TV screen. Use the top section for directional navigation (left, right, up, down) and select (middle).
To use “screen share”, you’ll want to use in-app AirPlay (if available), or else Screen Mirroring in Control Center. That is unrelated to the software remote.
Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If screen mirroring or streaming isn't working on your AirPlay-compatible device - Apple Support

Thanks for your reply. But I have tried all the methods I found on the Internet. I still can not search my Apple TV in my iPhone. Is it possible to be a screen?
What do you mean by “search your Apple TV”? Do you mean select the Apple TV box to stream to?
