MacBook Pro 14inch 2021, mac OS Monterey 12.1

Dear Apple,

Few days ago, I bought a MacBook Pro 14inch 2021 spending over 3000euro.

I am very disappointed as in this computer basic the futures are not working. I have spent a lot of hours trying to find solution to the problems with no results.

The main problems are:

Spotlight search is not finding any results from my files.
Outlook search is not working.

At first stage I migrate my data from my old iMac to the new MBpro and nothing from the above worked.

After I have formatted and reinstalled the software and set up the whole computer with no result.

I need your assistance as at this time I have nothing but a useless computer.

I solved the problems.

I have formatted and re-installed MacOS Monterey and Spotlight worked this time.

Reference to Outlook I installed the preview Outlook version 16.57 with classic Outlook (not the new with the button).

You have to use the "new Outlook" if you want search to work. see:

No search results for Outlook in 12.1

New Outlook does not work with old emails. Does not have the option to migrate for Profile.

It just let you setup your accounts and work after that.

I'm working my emails as POP, so this new Outlook does not offer anything to me.

I'm very disappointed.

To look for files I find it works better to search from the finder window.

(And, of course, problems with Outlook are hardly the computer's fault.)
