no usb port on mac air
Just returned my new mac air because there is no USB port on it. Made all my other devices obsolete.
Sorry Apple - you just converted me to a PC guy again.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.
All modern computers, not just Mac computers, use primarily USB-C or Thunderbolt. You'll need this simple adapter: USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple.

All Macs I know of have at least 1 USB port. What Mac does not?
FWIW, the USB-C ports on the MacBook Air support (with adapters):
Thunderbolt 1/2
USB2, USB 3.1 gen 1, USB 3.1 gen 2, USB 3.2 Gen1, USB 3.2 gen 2
With out adapters it supports all the above USB if the device uses a USB-C cable plus USB 4 and Thunderbolt 3.
So none of your devices are obsolete!
New MBA only has USB-C ports. You need a USB-A to USB-C adapter or a hub to use older hardware.
