MacBook Pro A1706 short circuit

Hello, I ran into such a problem. After the crash, the MacBook a1706 worked at first, the display went out later, but it was possible to display it on an external screen, and then it is not displayed or turned on at all (the track pad responds, but the coolers do not work). Service centers say a short circuit from the power circuit to the processor. I ordered a new motherboard. The question is: if I put in a new motherboard, what is the percentage that it will not short? Should I connect the display to the motherboard or is it better not to connect and output only through an external screen? Thanks!
