Hi. I just upgraded to a IPhone 13. Now when I ooen my phone, the is a white rectangle where a “preview” of my news send to be. It always had 4 or 5 items that changed through out the day. If I click on that blank space it brings me straight to news. How do I get the news to show up again on that first page of my Home Screen?

Thank you so much. Restarting my phone absolutely did the trick. Also. When I went to the news app before it was fixed it looks just as it always had. So the widget must have actually been stuck

It sounds as if your News widget is stuck. Delete the widget from the home screen and re-add it.
Try restarting your phone then adding the widget back.
What happens when you go directly to the News app itself? Is it working properly?
I've had that problem with a couple of widgets. mostly for third-party apps. It seems to have stopped happening so, I'm assuming one of the more recent iOS 15 updates could have fixed it. Double-check to make sure you're running the latest version.
That’s exactly what I thought. I erased the news widget and then tried to add it back in. When I try to add the widget back in, it is blank. If I go down yo the actual news app to create a widget it is blank also. There is no News
