my phone feels warm/hot when charging even when using an iphone charger

everytime i charge my phone it’s starts to like warm up or heat up. it’s an iphone 13 and basically new and when it charges it sits on my bed and i don’t touch or use it while charging. i don’t even use like those off brand chargers and im wondering like what’s wrong and if it’s possibly the battery or something else
