email synchronization not working after to have installed IOS 15.0

The email synchronization does not work after to have installed IOS 15.0

All the email I deleted using my iphone remain on the server. Obviously, my email account on the iphone is configured as IMAP. The synchronization on my iphone has been working for years and until I updated the operative system with the IOS 15.0 version. In fact, a minute later the synchronization did not work any more.

WHY????????

Is your iPhone connecting to wifi network?

Can you use Safari, Youtube, or other apps which need Internet access?

If the answer is yes to both questions, try this workaround:

  • Delete your email account in Settings>Mail>Accounts
  • Restart your iPhone
  • Add your email account back again
  • Keep your iPhone connected to a reliable and fast Wifi Network until your email account repopulates (it might take some minutes).
