I cannot stream Xfinity content (TV) with Safari out of the box on my brand new MacBook Pro

Good Day,

When I attempt to stream from the Xfinity website with Safari on my MacBook at this website:

https://www.xfinity.com/stream/

It says "Now connecting to your entertainment experience" with a dot dot dot animation that never goes away. By the way this is after I put in my credentials and authenticate on the Xfinity website.

This is a brand new MacBook Pro ***right out of the box***.

I downloaded Google Chrome and I visited the same website:

https://www.xfinity.com/stream/

...and it connects right in after I enter my credentials.

I wonder why such a major company like Apple and Xfinity can't do something fairly basic. I would suspect Comcast could make a bigger effort to get this working. Apple's browser is fairly standard.

I guess the nearly $300 we pay per month towards Xfinity isn't worth trying to resolve a very common problem that I see here in the forums that many people have and that is a most basic function today on a computer.

Watching TV used to be somewhat of a novelty on phones and computers now it's pretty much par for the course. In fact my kids probably watch more TV on their phones and computers that they do in front of real TVs.

Comcast get your act together and lower your prices and stop gouging everybody. And can you put a little bit of effort into fixing the Flyers. You own them you're the only one that can fix them and we keep losing to the Penguins year after year after year and the Penguins aren't even as good as they used to be. Sidney Crosby is such a crybaby everybody knows it. But I'd rather have him on my team because the guy actually has talent unlike 95% of the people on the Flyers right now. Of course that's silly Concast is always going to keep gouging everybody but you would think they could fix their streaming capability on one of the two most major viewing Personal Computing platforms in existence in the world.

A Youtube TV is looking better and better each day. Probably will have to cut the cord and switch my mobile provider and my 4 cell phones and Apple Watch over and get a new internet provider and re do my home internet configuration. Elon Musk satellites here I come!
