Can’t Check Out of Apple Store App with Apple Pay

When I try to check out of the Apple Store app using Apple Pay it just spins on the processing step (see pic) . I can get to the next step with the Apple Store using Apple Pay on the web via Safari. I can use Apple Pay on the web and in stores with no problem. I’m using iPhone 12 and iPad Air with iOS 15.2.

Has anyone else seen this? Any idea how to fix it? Thanks
