Trying set up for my wife her batter is bad i want to replace sim card from her phone

Did you forget your passcode?, see this Apple article: If you forgot your iPhone passcode

Did you forget your Apple ID that you used to setup the iPhone?, check your Apple ID via your email box, see this Apple article: If you forgot your Apple ID

After you have access on iPhone, remove the iPhone from your account, see this Apple article:

Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in

If the SIM format is different, visit or contact the carrier and request a replacement SIM card, normally it is free.
