Apple Care+ in Korea

I used to live in the states but I had a visit to my family for over a year in Korea.

While I was in Korea, the new macbook pro came out and I bought it from Apple Korea.

I am trying to buy AppleCare+ for my macbook but Apple US provides extended AppleCare+, renewing AppleCare+ even after 24months, and Korea does not.

I am going to go back to the states on June.

In this case do I have any options on buying the US AppleCare+? or maybe buy AppleCare+ from Korea and extend it after I go the states?

I am going to ask Apple Support about this but I just wanted to get suggestions on what I should do.

Thanks.
