ipad keyboard case crashes app

So our company uses an app called COINS CDR to input time on jobs. Since the iPasOS 15 update any time they try to enter time using either a Logitech or Zagg Keyboard Case the app crashes. They have to turn off their keyboard so the virtual keyboard appears and then the app works fine. Sounds similar to the Facebook comments causing crashes with keyboard cases. The developers response: we don't support external keyboards (which is laughable). So I've reached out to Zagg, Logitech and now Apple. The Apple keyboard cases seem to be fine it's just 3rd party. So I hope if it's an iPadOS issue they fix it and fast, and if not I hope there is firmware updates for the external keyboards as this is really causing issues with our field crews. All the suggestions of going into Accessibility and turning on Full Keyboard support as well as doing hard resets, or resetting settings have produced no results. Also it's happening on 2018 thru 2021 iPads as well as iPad Pro 9.7in.
