Find My *Notification* not showing for: When Left Behind
Notify isn’t an option under my airpods in Find My as I see in online instructions. I am on a 12 mini and running ios 15.1.1.

Thanks! Looks like these are 2nd generation AirPods. according to this help article: Set up and use Notify When Left Behind in the Find My app - Apple Support
You need 3rd generation or newer: "For AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and AirPods (3rd generation), you need an iPhone 12 or later."
The help article here confirms it: "You can set up separation alerts for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 15, iPadOS 15, or later; Mac with Apple silicon and macOS Monterey 12 or later; or supported AirPods with the Find My network turned on."
