I do not have any tab bar on safari when I select the ”separate” option in settings? Only way to vhange tabs is open the grid view. I cant figure out what could possibly be the problem? Tabs work with the compact view as expected, but I really prefer the old style.

We understand you're not able to view your tabs when you're using Separate Tab Bar. When you open multiple tabs when Separate Tab Bar is selected in Settings, you will see your tabs right below the search bar. In Compact view the tabs aren't fully visible. Separate Tab Bar would look like what is shown in the photo of the section "Organize your tabs" Use tabs in Safari on iPad.
After changing your Safari tab preference, restart your iPad and check for the behavior.

In setting, Safari has an option to choose between "Separate Tab Bar" or "Compact Tab Bar". If i choose "Separate Tab Bar", no tab bar will show in Safari.
