Microsoft Word missing on my Mac

All of a sudden the Microsoft Word App is missing from my Mac. All the other Office 365 apps are there. Pages is now default for all my word documents. Any suggestions of what happened and how to correct. Thanks

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.0

You presumably need to reinstall or redownload Word or Office if one of the MS apps is really missing. Are you sure you do not see it in the Applications folder? If by chance it is still there, then the default app has just been set wrongly.
