No longer able to use my iPad as second monitor.

Recently I just updated my MacBook to the Monterey MacOS, and I realise that I was able to use the screen mirroring function on my MacBook. Usually I will use my iPad as a second screen, but then after the update it can connect to my iPad even though my iPad does support the function.

The screen mirroring function does appear in my MacBook, but somehow it just won't connect t my iPad. Does anyone knows what is going on ?

You have used this feature before so you know that the iPad and the MacBook will have to be connected to the same Wi-Fi Network. When you choose Screen Mirroring then choose Display Preferences. The Display Preferences window will open. Choose Add Display and then your iPad should be listed. Tap on your iPad from the list and SideCar should begin to work.
