Potentially compromised iphone

Stupidly I followed a link via a text message believing it was from my bank. Unfortunately my banking was compromised because of this.. fortunately my bank managed to de-register the bogus device in time and hopefully no losses will be incurred.

my bank has suggested that I have my phone professionally checked for viruses.

is there any potential that the wider phone will have been compromised as my banking app was? If so what should I do?

iPhone SE, iOS 15

No. There are no known viruses in the wild that can infect an iPhone that has not been jailbroken.

For that matter, your banking app was not compromised. Your online account with your bank was... well, not really compromised, since you gave the criminals your credentials willingly...

It’s an iPhone, you are probably fine. The only thing the link wanted was access to your bank account to drain funds most likely. You probably just authorised it to your bank account online, and that was it. Nothing downloaded to your phone.

If you are super worried, you can reset your passwords, enable 2 factor authentication for various online accounts that you may have, and finally, reset your iPhone. Personally, I think all is fine.
