Second capitalized

Since I've had Macs, I always was confronted with a VERY annoying problem of capitalizing the second letter. It happens on all applications.

I start a sentence with a cap and the second letter gets capitalized as well. I have to pause for a few seconds to avoid this repeated behaviour.

I type a lot ans it is... it is, very annoying... It happens on all devices all systems. Really!

HOw can I stop that? But most of all why is it happening?

Dan as a test move repeat to OFF & move Delay to Longer.

Hi Dan,

Sys Prefs>Keyboard, what is the Key Repeat rate & Delay Until Repeat rate?

Other than that, is t the same KB on all devices, or any software common to them all?
