Text Replacement Not Working in Safari 15.0

I have checked and re-checked all the usual suspects to no avail. My keyboard text replacement used to work flawlessly across all websites in Safari and now it is hit or miss, at best. It does not function even as I write this.

Does anyone have any idea how to enable this feature so it works correctly?

Thank you,

Hello Ceelo456,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities! We understand your text replacement isn't working. We're happy to assist you with this.

Let's make sure Text Replacement is turned on in Safari by navigating to In the menu bar, go to Edit > Substitutions >  and turn on Text Replacement.
